Our 2025 packaging wrapped is a pause before the next production run, before the next prototype, the next pallet optimized to save on freight.
Last year, packaging moved through our factories in many forms: paper, foil, ceramic, fabric, and complex mixed-material assemblies. Each project came with its own parameters, timelines, material constraints, structural requirements, all designed and produced under full control.
This is our 2025 packaging wrapped: a look back at the projects that allowed brands to maintain control over their final touchpoint.

Chloé Packaging | SS26 Invite Box
Once Chloé’s ceramic SS26 invites were kiln-fired, they required custom packaging that could accommodate their irregular form, protect a fragile surface, and be produced and delivered within three weeks to meet runway deadlines.
The solution: a two-piece matched rigid box with form-fitting inserts, silk-screened logos, and fully recyclable materials engineered, tested, and produced under tight timelines without compromising presentation.

Maison Margiela Packaging | Tabi Collector Box
Designed for Maison Margiela‘s limited-edition Tabi release, the collector box needed to support both preservation and presentation while controlling how the product was revealed.
We developed a structured split rigid box with twin interiors, precise tolerances, and dedicated compartments. Allowing the unboxing experience to remain intentional while protecting a high-value, collectible product at scale.

Alexander McQueen Packaging | PR Handbag Box
For Alexander McQueen’s T-Bar Sling Bag PR send-out, the packaging needed to secure both the handbag and tassel as a single system while remaining camera-ready and transit-safe.
A custom rigid box and insert were developed to lock components in place, minimize movement during shipment, and deliver a consistent unboxing experience across global press destinations.

Holiday Packaging: Wrapped
The end of the year always brings a different kind of energy. Faster timelines, higher volumes, and moments meant to feel generous rather than precious. In our 2025 packaging wrapped, holiday packaging became a study in how brands express joy without losing clarity or control.
Nespresso Packaging | Holiday Pouches
Nespresso’s holiday pouches required consistent print execution across multiple colorways, with gold foil accents applied at scale without loss of detail or registration. The result was festive packaging produced with precision and repeatability.

Alo Yoga Packaging | Holiday Shopper Gift Charm
Alo’s holiday shopper gift charm introduced a multi-shape, swinging hang tag designed to move with the bag while maintaining brand clarity and production efficiency.

Jacquemus Packaging | Holiday Boxes
Jacquemus’ striped holiday boxes leveraged recognizable brand codes through repeat patterns, woven logo labels, and controlled material selection; ensuring consistency across sizes and global distribution.

What 2025 Taught Us
In 2025, every project was defined by specific parameters. Our role was to bring structure to those constraints and give brands control over how their packaging was designed, produced, and delivered.
As we move into 2026, that same control continues to guide everything we make. For projects that require precision from concept through production, the conversation starts at info@idpdirect.com
