Blueprint For Survival
Embodying the duality of Off-White’s rebellious luxury and Squid Game’s nail-biting intensity. Off-White’s deconstructed designs, industrial aesthetics, and bold typography intersect with Squid Game’s haunting symbols—from the guards’ masks to the gripping tension of Tug of War. This particular game inspired the packaging’s standout feature: a tensioned rope handle paired with Off-White’s signature diagonal stripes.
The result is a design that seamlessly blends storytelling with interactivity.
The Design Arena
Our process was meticulous and exhaustive. Starting with moodboards and sketches, we explored every visual and thematic reference. From Squid Game’s intricate honeycomb Dalgona patterns to its chaotic energy and inspiration from Off-White’s latest collection, no detail was overlooked.
Materiality was critical: textured jute for the rope handle echoed the raw intensity of the games, while premium debossing, layered UV inks, and fabric player tags added a luxurious, tactile quality. Immersing ourselves in the world of Squid Game, we couldn’t help but anticipate the show’s return—and let’s be honest, we’re all eager to see how far Player 230, played by T.O.P (Choi Seung-hyun) from BIGBANG, will make it in the games.
