IDP Direct’s Future of Sustainable Packaging was developed and designed for Walpole UK‘s annual yearbook that is sent to to every fashion house in London. Our in-house design team developed the concept from structure to user experience and design. The packaging had to come from previously hard to recycle materials in order to remove as much waste as possible from landfill and be 100% recyclable. By choosing to eliminate glues, inks, and post production processes we were able to make this ecommerce packaging system completely 100% recyclable globally.

The packaging was produced at IDP Direct’s factory in Indonesia without the use of glues of inks. The material is made from recycled coffee cups and has a silver anti-bacterial coating from James Cropper so that each box arrives clean and safe to handle.

We’re also excited to share a sneak peak at this year’s Future of Sustainable Packaging…
