This September, we took center stage at London Packaging Week, hosted by Easyfairs at the ExCeL London. Our booth wasn’t just about showing off the latest in luxury packaging—it was about pushing boundaries. We showcased innovations that marry sustainability with craftsmanship, all while introducing future trends. Because, let’s face it, premium brands want it all: luxury, sustainable packaging, and a seamless unboxing experience that leaves a lasting impression.
What We Showed Off
Sustainable packaging without compromise. Each piece was a statement of how eco-friendly materials can elevate—not detract from—luxury. Take the Loewe bag, for example. Coated with UV gloss droplets, it wasn’t just something you looked at; it was something you felt. That tactile finish got people talking about how luxury is evolving to engage multiple senses.
Our paper handles stole the show. Yep, paper. Yep, stole the show.
Our premium knitted handles, crafted from woven paper, made at IDP Direct look and feel like nothing you’ve ever seen—proving once again that innovation should never sacrifice quality. It’s the kind of thing that leaves an impression, even when you’re not expecting it.
A Nod to London’s Icons
Our limited edition Pentawards & Easyfairs hosted event paper bag paid homage to one of London’s most iconic symbols—the black cab. We didn’t just slap a picture on a bag; we went all out with a tactile illustration embossed on black paper, elevated by gold foil debossing. This wasn’t just about design, though. It was about demonstrating versatility. We showcased two versions: a standard shopper and our M-pack construction, a hybrid that seamlessly blends a bag and a box. These bags are more than an experience; they’re part of our Design for Absence program where we help brands eliminate packaging to be more sustainable.
Always Looking Forward
London Packaging Week was a conversation about where luxury packaging is headed. We didn’t just bring pretty bags to the party. We brought fully recyclable, eco-friendly innovations that make it clear: sustainable packaging is not just an option, it’s the future of packaging. From PCW papers to innovative closures, every single piece on display told a story of how we can support premium brands in creating luxurious packaging that’s good for the planet.
