Eve Lom

Luxury skincare packaging engineered from decoration to fulfillment. IDP Direct worked with Eve Lom to produce intricate foil-stamped rigid boxes while replacing plastic inserts with flat-packed paperboard structures designed for efficient assembly.

Project Overview

Eve Lom’s holiday packaging called for highly detailed floral foil artwork across a collection of luxury skincare gift boxes. IDP Direct worked with the creative team to translate the artwork into production, refining the foil stamping and embossing to maintain detail across multiple box formats. Inside, we reengineered the packaging around paper. Thermoformed plastic trays were replaced with custom paperboard inserts that ship flat, assemble quickly during fulfillment, and securely position each skincare product for presentation.

More Detail. Less Packaging.

The goal wasn’t to simplify Eve Lom’s creative vision. It was to simplify what customers never see. The exterior could remain expressive and highly detailed while the internal structure became lighter, flatter, and nearly eliminated plastic from the packaging design.

Paper. Not Plastic.

We replaced thermoformed plastic trays with IDP Direct's patented paperboard inserts that ship flat, assemble in seconds, and lock each product into position for retail presentation. Less plastic, less storage volume, without compromising the unboxing experience.

24 Doors. One Production.

Advent calendars multiply complexity: individual compartments, product fit, opening sequence, ribbons, artwork, assembly, and tolerances all have to work together. IDP engineered the structure for repeatable production while protecting the experience Eve Lom's creative team designed.

Detail That Survives Production.

Fine floral artwork pushed the limits of foil stamping and embossing. IDP worked through tooling, pressure, registration, and production testing to preserve the detail across the finished mass produced packaging, not just the first prototype.

MEASUREMENT BEHIND THE PACKAGING

“When you own your factories, emissions can be calculated from actual energy consumption, not industry averages. That doesn't make the number better, it makes it real.”
