Prada
One material language across bags and boxes. Custom-made papers, textures, finishes, and woven handles create consistency across the collection, while collapsible rigid boxes reduce the space required to ship and store it.
Project Overview
Prada’s packaging required consistency across very different formats. We developed custom paper to achieve the same color and tactile character across shopping bags and rigid boxes, then carried that language through embossed surfaces, foil details, custom-woven handles, and metal hardware.
Luxury That Takes Up Less Space
Prada’s rigid boxes collapse flat for shipping and storage, then assemble into a premium rigid structure at retail. That means more boxes per shipment and less warehouse space without changing the presentation the customer experiences.

Color, Texture & Finish
Prada's signature texture, foil-stamped logo, custom paper color, and color-matched handles are developed to work as one system, carrying the same visual and tactile language across their entire retail packaging system.
Collapsible Rigid Boxes
Gift boxes engineered to ship and store flat, then assemble into a rigid presentation box at retail. The structure reduces shipping and warehouse volume without asking the creative team to compromise the finished experience.

Structure Becomes Detail
The metal snaps allow the rigid box to collapse flat and lock into shape when assembled. Rather than hiding the mechanism, it becomes an intentional detail of the finished design.
Custom Paper, 40% PCW
The paper was manufactured specifically for the program to control color, texture, and recycled content at the material level, not printed to imitate the finish afterward. The result is consistent brand color and tactility across bags and boxes with 40% post-consumer recycled content.

Brand DNA in the Surface
Embossing and foil work with the custom-made paper rather than covering it. Color, texture, pattern, and metallic detail repeat across formats so a shopping bag and rigid box feel like parts of the same packaging system.
WHAT FACTORY-DIRECT MEANS TO PRADA
When the paper, structure, components, and manufacturing are developed together, brand consistency doesn't have to be corrected at the end. It can be engineered from the beginning.
